Molly Solich

Owner & Lead Designer

Molly Solich Design is based in Colorado and offers full-service interior decoration, collection management, and design guidance for historic remodels & restorations. Beginning her career at a reputable and established art gallery, she learned the importance of telling a story through personal, thoughtful acquisitions. She had the privilege of working on several historically significant properties during her time with a high-end residential design firm in Texas. Venturing out on her own in 2017, her most memorable projects include updates to a unique southwestern home designed by Frank Welch, the restoration of an original duck hunting lodge, and the decoration of a significant 1930’s John Staub designed residence.

As a 7th generation Texan, hospitality, heritage and history are in her DNA. Raised in the Texas hill country, Molly grew up in her great grandparents c. 1902 Victorian house. Her childhood home was filled with meaningful French and English antiques that had been thoughtfully preserved. Two formative educational study tours to Italy & Greece informed her appreciation for the past and established a lifelong admiration of traditional architecture and quality craftsmanship. In every project, she aims to bring an appreciation for the past alongside a modern sensibility.

When not collecting or designing, Molly enjoys hiking, visiting museums & art galleries, volunteering with animal rescue programs, and studying the history of design & architecture. In addition to restoring her own c. 1911 cottage alongside her husband, she is an active member in the Historic Preservation Alliance of Colorado Springs.
